– Bio

Cole started his career as an Assistant State Attorney where he quickly scaled the ranks, largely in part to his professional courtroom demeanor and presence. Cole honed his trial skills prosecuting a wide range of cases from inception to completion, including DUIs, Armed Robberies, Home Invasions, and Attempted Murders. Cole’s reputation as a skilled trial attorney and ethical prosecutor culminated in him being named the 2015 “rookie” felony prosecutor of the year for the 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida (Jacksonville).  In an effort to become well-rounded, Cole then transitioned to civil practice, where he focused on civil litigation for a boutique firm before joining The Valente Law Group.  Currently, Cole’s main practice areas include personal injury, civil litigation and criminal defense.

Outside the office, Cole is the consummate well-rounded athlete, enjoying nearly every sport, including golf, tennis, and basketball. Cole spent the majority of his adult career playing professional ultimate frisbee on the national level, culminating in two national championships.  Cole recently retired as the captain of the Jacksonville Cannons (Florida’s professional Ultimate Frisbee team). In 2016, Cole set (and still holds) the American Ultimate Disc League all-time single game record in assists (touchdown passes) in addition to setting the assist record for the entire league over the course of the year.  Although being dubbed the “Tom Brady” of Ultimate Frisbee, Cole now enjoys bringing his competitive attitude to the Courtroom in lieu of the field.
